As of Jan. 15, 2011, the DEAs will be open 5 a.m.–10 p.m. Typically the county’s said hours are from dawn to dusk but during the months where daylight is so short, it makes it hard for some people to use the parks, especially in the morning before the head to work. A big “thank you” to Mary, a regular early AM Runway DEA usesr for raising this issue! Her follow-up go the ordinance changed. Also thanks to Milwaukee County Sheriff Clarke and Milwaukee County Parks Director, Sue Black, for being so responsive to making this change.
