Riverwest DEA Land Acquisition Approved

ROMP just got word that the Parks, Energy and Enviornment Committee approved a land donation by Johnson Controls by a vote of 7-0. This means Johnson Controls will donate the land to the county to be used as a neighborhood dog park. There is a lot of work still to be done on the site but this was the biggest hurdle to tackle since it involved a ton of legal work to transfer the land and negotiation regarding how JC will clean up the site.

As more information becomes available we will share the details.
